Kirkland, Wash June 2012

Jetstream Software, a locally-headquartered provider of outsourced software development services and technology consulting to Fortune 500 and newly emerging companies, today announced that is has been recognized again this year as one of the Eastside’s "Fastest Growing Companies" by the Puget Sound Business Journal.

The rankings, which will be published in the July 20th edition of the PSBJ, includes 50 Eastside privately held companies who together comprise over 1.5 billion in annual revenue. The listing, one of several that regularly include Jetstream Software, ranks firms based on year to year revenue growth and is comprised of firms reporting from 21 to 531 percent growth. The ranking is not limited to companies from any particular industry.

“The Business Journal has been doing the 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies in Washington since 1995 and throughout the years, the state-wide list is comprised of more companies that hail from Eastside communities, said Gordon Prouty, publisher, Puget Sound Business Journal. “To that end, last year we launched this program to specifically honor fifty innovative and inspirational companies headquartered east of Lake Washington.”

To be eligible, companies must: be privately held and headquartered on the Eastside; have at least $500,000 in net revenue in 2009; show an overall growth from 2009 to 2011 fiscal years; and agree to have their net operating revenues checked with Puget Sound Business Journal. All 50 Eastside honorees are automatically entered for possible selection into the state-wide 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies competition which is announced in September. The state-wide awards event is on October 11, 2012 at Meydenbauer Center.

““We’re very pleased to be recognized by PSBJ for our growth in the last few years, but we are careful to balance our growth with our first priority, which is providing the best possible service for our clients.” states Mike Moskowitz, CEO.

"Our customers come to us not only for our technical expertise but also because they trust our judgment and commitment to their success” added Jon-Jacques Umphrey, COO.
