Jetstream Software named one of the top software developers in Puget Sound region

Kirkland, Wash. – Feb 11, 2010

Jetstream Software, a locally-headquartered provider of outsourced software development services and technology consulting to both Fortune 500 and newly emerging companies, today announced that is has again been named among “Largest Software Developers in Puget Sound” by the Puget Sound Business Journal.

The prestigious list includes many of Washington State's most entrepreneurial companies.

"Jetstream’s success can be credited to one philosophy – hire smart people and give them what they need to deliver for our customers.” stated Mike Moskowitz, Jetstream CEO and Founder.

The listing, one of several that regularly include Jetstream Software, was published in the February 11th, 2010 issue of the Puget Sound Business Journal and ranks firms based on revenue. The list includes such well known names as Microsoft, RealNetworks, F5, and Attachmate. This is not the 16-year-old company’s first recognition as an industry leader. Jetstream Software has been recognized repeatedly by Washington CEO magazine and Puget Sound Business Journal as one of Washington’s software leaders as well as one of the fastest growing private companies in the state. Jetstream was most recently named by Xconomy as one of the unsung heroes of the Washington Software industry. Jetstream’s founder, Mike Moskowitz, has served on the board of the Washington Technology Industry Association as well as other industry associations and is a frequently-requested speaker at high tech events.

“Jetstream’s continued success in the face of increasing competition and the current economy can be attributed to the fact that we do one thing very well – build market-quality software for software-centric clients. Our clients know they can depend on our expertise to get their product to market,” stated Jon-Jacques Umphrey, VP of Operations. “It’s great to be recognized for our continued contribution to the industry. Many of the firms that we shared this honor with in past years are simply no longer in business.”
